O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here,
Until the Son of God appear.
This year is, without a doubt, unlike any other. And like the hymn suggests, many of us might feel like captives waiting to be ransomed from this pandemic.
Despite every challenging situation that we are facing - there is a message of hope. This year let us make a special effort to come together as a family, to look forward to commencing Advent and search deep within our hearts for the Reason for the Season.
