Coming Home March 2021

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We are delighted to welcome all of you to ‘Come Home to Holy Family Kajang’ once again with the reopening of our church, following the recent Chancery Notice by the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur.

Resumption of Public Masses
This weekend we will celebrate the following public Masses:

Public Masses in English will begin Sunday, March 21st, and for Bahasa on Sunday, April 11th. All weekend Masses will continue to be livestreamed.

Registration for English Mass will be conducted online on our website beginning next week. Notices will be issued on our website, social media channels and our Telegram account @ https://t.me/holyfamilykajang.

The resumption of weekday Masses is on hold until further notice. As such the Mass for the Feast of the Solemnity of St Joseph on Friday, March 19th will be livestreamed. The decision for the Mass for the Feast of the Annunciation which falls on Thursday, March 25th will be made later.

Staying Safe in Church
The current guidelines by the Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur allow for registrations by parishioners of all ages. According to the latest MKN SOP (4 March 2021) persons aged 60 years and above and children aged 12 years and below, are discouraged from attending public Mass.

Parishioners are not permitted to attend Mass at Church, if:

All SOPs such as the use of facemasks and social distancing must be strictly adhered to while attending Mass in Church and guidance on the SOPs will be shared soon.

Sacrament of Reconciliation
You may continue to contact the Parish Office to make an appointment for confessions.

Holy Communion for the Homebound
Holy Communion for the Homebound may resume. Please contact your BEC Coordinator should you wish to arrange for Holy Communion for a member of your household who is infirm or elderly.

Catechism, RCIA, Formations
Catechism classes, RCIA sessions, and all other formations including the Parish Lenten Retreats will continue to be conducted online.
