After 106 years, the time came for St Anne's Chapel in Semenyih to close its curtains. The chapel which was built on an estate plantation by the Capuchins will be torn down to make way for a new development. The last mass was celebrated on the 1st of October 2015 by Rev Fr Surain and Rev Fr William Michael with attendance of approximately 300 faithful. Many who attended including local and neighbouring parishioners were with a heavy heart once the mass ended. The site of the new chapel would be located at a nearby vicinity.
